After purchasing a domain name and hosting for your new website, the next thing you might want to do is create an email account. For example, yourname@mynewwebsite.com.
It’s easy to set up and I’ll show you how to get it done in six steps.
I’m using Namecheap for this tutorial. However, regardless of the platform, I’m sure the steps are very similar. Let’s get straight into it.
1. Go to Namecheap.com.
2. Click SIGN IN in the top bar, enter your login details, and click Sign in.
2. Enter the verification code sent to your connected email address and click Submit.
3. Go to Hosting List and hit GO TO CPANEL.
4. Scroll down to the Email section and click Email Accounts.
5. Click Create.
6. Select your domain, enter your username and password, and click Create.
That’s it.
Your new email account will be created as shown below.
Click Check Email beside your new email account to go to cPanel’s webmail.
This is where you’ll be sending and receiving emails from your new business email address.
If you don’t want to use this platform to send emails, you can connect your professional email account to Gmail to send emails from Gmail.
And if you want to receive emails sent to your business email inside Gmail, you can set up an email forwarder in cPanel to get it done.
