How it started
As someone who grew up in a traditional Ghanaian home, I always thought I’d be be a doctor, engineer….you know one of those “prestigious” professions.
If you told me, after I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, that I’d be a writer today, I wouldn’t have believed you.
I didn’t even know this career path existed!
But when I discovered it in 2022, I was more than happy to pursue it.
Besides the amazing perks that I get to make money while working from home, it aligned perfectly with my natural ability to make complex topics super simple and engaging.
I write with the reader in mind
I’m not the best and most perfect writer out there.
But what makes me stand out is that I always write with the reader in mind. And if this means going the extra mile….spending ungodly hours on research and writing, I’ll do it wholeheartedly.
My approach to writing software articles is thorough and hands-on: I test the tools myself, watch video demos and tutorials, read help center documentation, and scan forums and review sites to gather both positive and negative user experiences. This ensures that my reviews are honest and in-depth.
I also believe in making explanations super simple, which reflects in my writing style. My goal is to provide clear, visual, and easily understandable reviews that help you learn about a tool and decide if it’s the right fit for you.
When I'm not busy writing
You’ll find me binge-watching my favorite YouTube creators. YouTube (and TikTok videos) are enough to fill my cup. So yes, I’m one of the few people who can survive without Netflix 😅
Besides videos, I enjoy reading. When I was younger, I loved adventure and fantasy fiction books. Some of my faves were (and still are) The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan, The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann, and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Nowadays, I mostly read non-fiction books.
Oh, and I love singing too! In my mind, I’m a superstar and no one can tell me otherwise 😁
